Robert Gipson

Robert brings a blend of academic and professional experience to our organization. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCLA, Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work, and currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Social Work. His doctoral project focuses on creating evidence-based stress management programs for marginalized populations.

Robert completed both his undergraduate and graduate field practicums at Health Service Alliance, where he gained valuable experience in clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare services. In addition to his background in the nonprofit sector, he has significant business experience, having served for 14 years as a General Manager and Business Account Executive with Verizon Wireless. On a purposeful journey to apply his skillset to impact underserved populations and communities, he uses his unique perspective to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges at HSA.

In his current position, Robert provides behavioral health services, administers our social services program, supports our intern and community health worker staff, and serves as a liaison to key community and partner collaboratives.
